 Very uncomfortable July 29, 2010

I had great hopes for these sandals. I usually wear motion control running shoes, which help my chronic foot pain. I liked the reviews I saw here, so I though I'd try them. I never got to wear them long enough to find out how they'd really work for me, because the strap bwtween my toes was very stiff, rough, and painful. Very disappointed.

I really wanted these to be comfy, but at last they weren't. These fit better than the Electra (the straps on the Electra were very loose on me) but for some reason I couldn't get a comfortable walk from these Walkstar 3's... I also seem to have received a lemon where a part of a painful dried up glue part was sticking into my feet.
I agree w/ another reviewer who said these fit differently across colors, and definitely across types. I wish it worked out w/ these b/c I loved being a bit taller. Oh well, I'm sticking w/ my crocs.
I give these 2 stars b/c the bottom of my feet were comfy/cushy but not the top where the straps were.

This was a great sandal...loved the extra height too. But after only wearing these FitFlops twice, my dog chewed them apart. So that's $50+ bucks down the drain. What a shame.

The walkstar III was not comfortable. It was so painful between my toes that the sandals caused bleeding and soreness.
The sandal was very stiff. Also I am a a 7-1/2 to 8 size and had to return the 8 (they were humongous) and get the 7.
Maybe the patent leather makes the sandal extra stiff. Would not try this brand again at all.
