These definitely wouldn't fit a 6 month old baby. But they're well made and they fit our babies up to 3 months. They stay on better than most hats but thats because they don't have as much on a stretch.

It has been very nice to have a large selection of these hats. They are perfect for bedtime. The only drawback is that they tend to shrink in the laundry. I doubt the same hat would still fit a 6 month old after 6 months of use.

Frustrating for me to keep adjusting these caps on my babies' head. Gerber sizes run way too small. They need to be realistic. The fabric is great but what is the use if the caps keep coming off and don't serve the purpose of wearing them? All the Gerber items I buy for my now 4 month old babies have to be bought several sizes up.

These are very small hats and would likely not fit a baby much older than newborn. They held up well washing in warm, low heat dryer.
