Doesn't appear to be the real deal. Flattens out in your hand. The outside sheathing is just too loose for me. Real parachute cord that I've messed with is round and tight. This appears to be an aftermarket item to appeal to the masses. I agree that it can be useful, but if you want the real thing look elsewhere.

I weigh 130 pounds and i could hang by it with no problem, still yet to try 500lbs. But i wrapped all my knifes in it and have been making so many different things with it. Free shipping! I am however just going to buy it from another dealer because of price and quality.
