5 out of 5 stars Nothing feels Better!   August 21, 2008
Smile4Brownie (USA)
When I first wore the shoes, it felt like my feet were being rubbed in a spa. I wore them again and nothing feels better on my feet than these shoe. Well, I purchased another pair. I truely love these shoes, and you don't know, until you know. Get a pair and see for yourself, but they are expensive!

2 out of 5 stars disappointment   May 4, 2008

Would not recommend these if you have a normal foot because the shoe does not grip around the middle enough so that the foot ends up sliding forward and hitting the big toe; not good. Also, the softness gives it a fuddy duddy "old lady" look and feel. The cushiness on the sole/instep doesn't do a thing for comfort since the toe hits the front of the shoe. These might be really nice for those with wide feet. The dark blue ones are not a true navy, they are lighter and "bluer".

I am a nurse and on my feet all day...so believe me when I say that I am always in pursuit of a comfy shoe. This shoe is wonderful! It rivals any of the top brand clogs that I have purchased in the past (Dansko, Born, White Mountain...) IT has an awesome cushion inside, so you almost feel a "bounce" or "spring in your step". And, they are really cute, with a blue on blue subtle pattern. I plan to purchase them in other colors for outside of work.

If you've felt the pain of "Plantar fasciitis" -- BUY THESE CLOGS!!! I've had tears of joy since wearing them because the pain is alleviated. I even wear them in the house. I plan to buy in all the colors. The following are not my words, but will explain to help those understand what it is...Plantar literally means 'bottom of foot', fascia means 'connective tissue' and it means 'inflammation'. Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of foot and heel pain; it affects more than 10% of the US population. It is considered a repetitive stress condition where your fascia experiences wear and tear mostly at the point where it attaches to your heel bone (the weakest part). Every time your foot strikes the ground your plantar fascia is stretched, when your heel lifts off the ground your plantar fascia experiences tension. Forces in your foot strike can reach 2-3 times your body weight depending on if you are standing, walking, running or jumping. This extra tension can result in over-stretching, inflammation and/or micro-tearing of the fascia at your heel, which your body finds difficult to repair itself. Although it is referred to as an inflammatory condition, plantar fasciitis can happen with or without inflammation. It generally occurs in one foot, however in 1/3 of cases it will develop in both feet. It most frequently affects athletes, people who are on their feet all day and those over 40 years of age (it is experienced twice as often in women than men in this age group). "It's me again -- BUY THEM! I HAVE THEM ON RIGHT NOW!"
