Amazon.com Product Description Melding style and comfort through its classic design and unique shock- absorbing footbed, the Softwalk women's Paloma lace-up is a great around-town shoe for women with rugged tastes. The Paloma features a buttery soft leather upper; a lightweight, blown EVA, slip-resistant outsole; and stretchable laces for a comfortable fit. The removable egg-create footbed is perhaps the main highlight, however, as it's built specifically to minimize pain and fatigue from hours of walking and standing. As with all Softwalk shoes, the Paloma lace-ups are designed for women who aren't willing to compromise on comfort.

Not what I expected based on reviews April 12, 2008 Mom of Two (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Searching for a well made quality shoe with lots of padding and comfort? This MIGHT be what you need, or maybe not. I had high hopes for this shoe. It appeared high quality, and well made. The egg crate padding inside was unusual feeling......somewhat soft and comfy. However, the padding stopped right about toe level, so it felt like my toes were on the edge of a cliff. I wondered if this would cause irritation, although no other reviewer had mentioned it. Also - no one mentioned the breathability of an "egg crate" padding. The shoe also seemed overly large and roomy on the top part, so buying down a size would not have a been a solution. Sadly, I returned it, and cancelled my order for a second pair. I'd probably recommend trying on in a store before ordering to avoid shipping fee return penalty.
OK for the sales price, but not for full price. April 9, 2008 Po Po 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These shoes are merely OK - for the sales price. I'd have been very upset if I'd paid the MSRP! I had to stretch them as they were rather snug and hurt my toe areas. They are OK for errands and short walks, but I'd never wear them to work or for all day; I tried it and my feet were killing me.

I bought these because I had to stand 7-8 hours at a time, and my back was killing me. I tried shoe inserts, but they didn't work. I usually never buy shoes online, because of size issues. However, I was pleasantly surprised that these fit perfectly and are VERY comfortable! I'm not standing for long periods of time anymore, but I wear these nonstop... I Love them! I am going to look for other colors in this style. They are better than Dr. Scholl's inserts! They are also worth the price, which wasn't too bad! I actually want to hike in them, and I hate hiking! Softwalks are fantastic, and I have several different styles, but this one is my favorite! Thanks!
It is very comfortable shoes. February 18, 2008 ChalesBrown (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought it for my mom and she is very happy with that. Personally, I don't think the shoes are beautiful but it is really comfortable. You can feel it even without wear it. I am very happy to find it.

I love these so much that I bought another pair. These are a GODSEND for my bad, lower back and flat feet.
