Not typical of Croc design August 19, 2010 C. Johnson (Fort Dodge, Iowa United States) I recently purchased a pair of the Crocband clogs and after wearing them only an hour decided the design is flawed. I read the reviews and opted for a size larger than I would normally order. I find them too long and far too sloppy on my feet. After closer inspection I understand why so many are complaining that they seem too short. After comparing them to several other pairs of Crocs in my closet, I have determined they are not made like any others I have in that they have very little, to no arch support. They're flat on the bottom and if you inspect the inside there is barely a bump where the arch should be. This throws the foot forward when you walk, creating the sensation they are constructed too short and hurt the toes. They need to retool the mold on this one to reflect the fit of previous models.
I do like the white band around the sole, but that's about it. Save your money and avoid this style! Love Crocs and will definitely purchase again, but will stick with the older styles.
I didn't recived! July 31, 2010 Andrea Lobo (California, USA) I had a problem, when I edited my direction wrote a number badly, now do not be where my package is, Please how they can do the sending again, I need help
What's Up With The Sizing? July 21, 2010 Franklin W. Cowart I read the reviews on here about these running small and the warnings to go up a size, but I foolishly ignored them for two reasons:
1) I wear size 13M in Crocs and they are usually just slightly too big for me, but comfy
2) 13M is the biggest size they make so I can't go up a size
I now wish I had heeded those warnings. These things run WAY small, and not just the length but the height as well. The top of the shoe gave me a painful rash it was so tight. Sure you can pull on the back strap to give yourself some room, but then your heel just hangs off the back. They are heavier then regular Crocs, also.
They look really cool but frankly I don't see the point of wearing Crocs if they aren't comfortable. That's what Crocs are all about, right? With Crocs you are gladly sacrificing looks for light, airy, formfitting comfort. Take that away and you just have weird looking shoes with no benefit.
If you really, really want Crocbands, GO UP A SIZE. Seriously. And if you are like me and can't go up a size, I would consider another style of Crocs, unless you like painful, throbbing red rashes on your feet.
Not as comfortable as Cayman July 16, 2010 P. Chong (Chino, CA United States) I was expecting these to be just as comfortable as the cayman, but just different style. But they're not at all.
Crocs are comfortable shoes in general, but cayman is definitely the MOST comfortable that I've tried so far out of all the crocs. The crocband is heavier and also the material is harder/firmer, not as soft and flexible. You will need to order 1 size up compare to the cayman as everyone else had mentioned. Also if you have thicker feet like mine, you may find these uncomfortable, causing pain on the top of your feet. If you've ever had this experience with some other shoes before, you'll probably find the same thing with the crocband. But Cayman doesn't cause this problem.
I am quite disappointed... my feet hurt for the first day, and by the end of the second day, the shoes got break in a little bit, so at least it's doesn't hurt as much anymore. Definitly not expecting this from a croc shoes, could have gotten much better looking shoes if I am going to put up with feet pain.
blisters :( June 26, 2010 Beth Salyer (Wilmington, NC United States) Ordered a pair of these for my 2 year old. They are very cute, and he loved them. However, after wearing them out and about the first day, he got big blisters on both feet on the instep hinge. I didn't realize the toddler sizes also ran small, and will replace with classic crocs that don't give him blisters!
