get a size smaller May 21, 2010 Silvia Rodriguez (Los Angeles, CA, US) i liked the boots alot but i got them my actual size a 10 and they were too big. they were very comfy but when i returned them they didnt have any 9's so i just had a refund i would recommend them for women who have thin calfs. bc they didnt really go up soo high lol
Cool toddler boots April 28, 2010 S.C. (Fayetteville, NC) Bought these for my 2 yr old son, got them on sale so I got 2 pairs (different colors/size). They are quite tall, but can easily be folded down in the shaft, which I may end up doing come fall....We shall see:-) Great deal, and I love the fact that they are lines with real wool/fur, not that fake polyester stuff. Also a lot cheaper than UGG's, but just about the same quality (well: almost). But for kids that grow out of their shoes in a couple of months: these are perfect. PS: remember to weather-proof them BEFORE use, if not the suede leather will get ruined fast.
AWESOME alt to Uggs April 9, 2010 Janis Spivack (Menlo Park, CA United States) For those who don't want to pay big $ for little feet that change every 6 mos. i highly recommend these. My daughter wears them constantly. They're sturdy, and we like that they're higher than the Uggs so she wears them like gogo boots.
bewar of the orthopedic risks March 15, 2010 O. Alkan (istanbul, TURKEY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had purchased Warmbat boots last year for my daughter and this year I got her (she is 5) the EMUs from Amazon. She was wearing it almost everyday in the previous cold months and after a few weeks I noticed that she is walking lopsided, her feet are sliding in which has never happened with any kind of shoes before. So much that the boots look all the way mutated now.
And today after reading the following sentences in a related article I guess I will have to find another warm alternative for her feet during winter time:
'Medical experts have warned that the trend for cheap Ugg boots is a price too high to pay. They have said that knock-off versions of the designer boots are crippling a generation of young women, 'literally breaking' their feet. With just six months of wear women could saddle themselves with a lifetime of foot deformities, backache and pain in their feet. And a phrase has even been coined for the gait of devoted wearers - the Ugg 'shuffle' - which describes the lopsided, pigeon-toed way in which cheap versions of the boots force women to walk. With each step the wearer's feet slide around. This can cause the feet to splay which flattens the foot arch and leads to wear and tear on the joints in the feet, knees, hips and back.'
Other than this, they are sure warm and comfy but after a few weeks wear they look quite old and worn out too.
Cute, but little support in the heel February 28, 2010 V. Quao (ACRA, NY, US) These were purchased for my grand daughter and returned because of 2 things; a)the size. They run small and b) There was no heel support. I knew that with a bigger size, my grand daughter would crush the back of the heel when started wearing them.
I decided to get her the Bearpaw boot instead. Those had better heel support.
