If you want corns buy these shoes October 20, 2008 Denise Ferguson (Freeport, Bahamas) These shoes gave me corns for the first time in my life! I bought these shoes because of the Easy Spirit brand known for comfortable shoes. Not these! I even bought them in wide width. I wouldn't like to feel the regular size fit, it makes me cringe!
To be so ugly, you would think they were comfortable July 28, 2008 Sarah Abshear (New York, NY USA) I think these shoes are pretty ugly, but since I live in NYC and have to stand on the subway every morning and then walk the rest of the way to work, I bought them anyway thinking they would be comfortable. Easy Spirit shoes are usually very comfortable (Check out the Lavena pump, for example). These are not. They do not have enough height in the toe. They smashed my large toenail down into my toe. It wasn't that noticable at first, but it is really noticable after a day at work. It hurt so much I had to quit wearing these. Also, the side of the heel made marks under my ankle. I suggest rather than getting these, go for some Bandalinos. After trying about a million pairs of shoes this summer while working in midtown, I think they are the most comfortable by far.
Sizing way off...frustrating. February 24, 2008 R. Holtrop (Midwest, USA) I ordered these shoes after some careful selection of price, heel height, shoe material, and other considerations. I finally made my purchase, and the shoes arrived very fast, but unfortunately, though I've always worn a standard size 7-1/2 in shoes and recently bought a pair that fit fine in this size, these shoes were so big on my feet that my foot didn't even tough the back in the shoe when I put my feet into them. Adding padding or thick hosiery seemed therefore like a pointless idea, so I decided to return the shoes. I am frustrated that ordering in my regular size did not work. I also noticed that while I ordered a "Wide" shoe, these don't seem all that wide, so overall, this order did not work for me.
perfect for the office February 1, 2008 M. Halladay (Germany) These shoes look great; they give my wide feet a more narrow appearance. The heel looks higher than it feels. They are classic and comforable. They lost one star because I would prefer that they had a bit of cushioning along the top of my foot and a bit more cushioning on the bottom at the ball of my foot. Overall, they are great.
Great price January 20, 2008 Cathleen B. Satter 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great buy...wished I would have looked on this website before I went out and purchased similar shoes for 3 times the price..and they are not as comfortable as these shoes. Plus they are so much more comfortable. I am going to order another pair in brown.
