Merrell Outland - Comfortable, Light-Weight, Great Winter Wear December 26, 2008 Craig This is a very comfortable and light weight shoe. It is great for cold days to keep the weather off your feet and it has a high quality Vibrum sole for excellent traction. This is not what I would use for extended hiking but a good comfortable day shoe. Note, I find this shoe to run about 1/2 size smaller than most brands. I would recommend buying larger when in doubt.
Rugged Hiker October 28, 2008 Bradley A. Harris (Cumming, GA United States) Great hiker and you can't go wrong with Merrell as a brand name. I have used this boot for a wide variety of outdoor as well as everyday applications. A solid year of wear and they are still going strong...
great May 5, 2008 Philip Dresman (San Diego, Ca, USA) For those of you who want a light, cool comfortable hiking shoe this is it. Not as much support as a boot but fine for light to medium hikes. Well made and minimal design.
