I first thought was 'these shoes are so cute.' I'm a girl (an old one) but still love the girly thrills of shoes. These shoes are also very comfortable. My 23 year old daughter like them as well and I will probably fight her for them...good thing I am bigger. These wear well with slacks and skirts.

I needed a pair of black mary janes, and have looked for quite some time, but couldn't find what I wanted. So many black mary janes are, well, PLAIN Jane, and who wants plain when you can have something a little more? I finally found what I wanted in these Aerosoles. True to size, they have the strap with a little elastic give and a perfect heel height. The only problem that I have with these shoes is the insole, and that may improve over time. The insoles are suede or something like that, and I have a hard time putting the shoes on when wearing hose or tights. The insoles tend to pull the toes back and under instead of just letting them slide in. Who likes to have those toe seams where they don't belong? Makes them just a little uncomfortable, but I'm hopeful. I figure after I wear them a few times, the pile of this interior fabric will become flatter and smoother. Well worth the price I paid, despite this one little flaw.

Size runs a little small compared to other Aerosoles that I've purchased. They are comfy though.

The shoes were stylish as depicted; however, the workmanship on one shoe was not balanced and the sizing was WAY off. A size 9 usually fits me a little loosely (as I like), but I could not even get my foot into these size 9's. They run extremely small. So small that I had to check the bottom of the shoe to see if they were accidentally sent to me as a size 8 or something. Odd, that, as the other 2 pairs I ordered were also Aerosoles and both the others fit fine.
